Samsung Cameras heats up the fire with the introduction of a brand new NV premium digital compact camera. Samsung Cameras, leaders in innovation and digital imaging, is building on the success of the groundbreaking NV Series with the launch of the compact NV40. Continuing the winning combination of innovative technology and user-friendly features, the Samsung NV40 also sports the stylish blue ring design which has become a trademark for Samsung quality and design. The new Samsung NV40 includes Samsung’s award-winning Smart Touch User Interface which has now been further enhanced for easy and convenient control - a gentle touch is all it takes to view your pictures, navigate menu items, or change the camera settings.

Samsung’s new NV40 model also includes improved processing technology which allows faster operation of functions within the cameras’ ultra-thin stylish body. Improved functions include dual image stabilization and improved noise reduction. Other features include faster Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) to 0.7 seconds, advanced noise reduction which supports up to ISO 3200 and a local contrast control which enables the camera to compensate the brightness of a shadowed subject in backlit conditions.

The brand new Samsung NV 40 is a stylish 10 Megapixel compact camera featuring Samsung’s improved processing technology and features such as a 3 x optical zoom lens, Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) and Red-Eye Fix to deliver optimum image quality to all photographers. The sleek Samsung NV40 also includes dual picture stabilization - by integrating both the optical picture and digital picture stabilization the user obtains vastly improved image quality and outstanding exposure without the blur. The NV40 boasts an intelligent 2.5-inch LCD screen which automatically detects environmental lighting and adjusts LCD brightness for optical image viewing. Whether you are inside or outside, the LCD automatically adjusts so there’s no need to reset the menu and change the LCD brightness. The Samsung NV4 is priced at £199 and will be available from leading high street and online retailers from February 2008. All Samsung cameras have a two year warranty included.
