The Philips DECT (Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telephone) SE658 phone was showcased at the CES 2008 show. The Philips SE658 phone is designed to provide consumers with an enhanced level of crystal-clear sound and reduced noise interference for calling friends, colleagues or loved ones. The Philips SE658 phone boasts ultra-secure digital encryption and far superior call clarity through greater distances than traditional analog cordless phones. In addition, all Philips DECT 6.0 phones provide outstanding battery life with up to 100% greater life than most 2.4 or 5.8 GHz models. This equals up to 12 hours of talk time. Price: 89.99 and is available in May 2008.

Philips CD455 - Polyphonic ringtones and Capacities
In addition to functional design, the Philips CD455 DECT phone features enhancements such as varied amounts of polyphonic ringtones and phonebook storage capacities - up to 100 numbers. The Philips CD455 phone includes an answering machine that can store up to half an hour of messages. The FCC approved DECT 1.9 GHz in April 2005 - a frequency dedicated exclusively to voice applications - offering higher security and superior performance. Each Philips model provides digital encryption that reduces the potential for identity theft and ensures private calls remain private.
