AOL announced that the Consumer Electronics Association selected Engadget, as the Official Blog Partner of the 2010 International CES to be held January 7-10, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In tandem with the show, Engadget will launch new mobile applications for the BlackBerry and Palm webOS devices that will join the site's just-released iPhone application. As part of the Official CES Blog Partnership, Engadget, which was recently voted as the blog of the decade as part of an Adweek Media poll, will provide ongoing CES 2010 news coverage of the hottest products from more than 2,500 CES exhibitors at the 2010 International CES.

Engadget’s expansion into the international market will provide an opportunity for consumers and advertisers around the world to follow up-to-the minute news from the show. Following the show’s conclusion, the site will launch its annual Engadget Awards in which editors and readers vote on the best of CES in several categories.

Along with the show’s kickoff, Engadget will be launching new Blackberry and Palm Pre (webOS) mobile applications. The two apps will join Engadget’s just-released iPhone application and will include galleries, video, news and more. News emerging from this year’s show will be spotlighted on Engadget’s international sites which are published in several languages including Spanish, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Polish.
