Fujifilm has announced the debut of a new entry-level compact digital camera in the popular Fujifilm FinePix "A" series. The Fujifilm FinePix A400 is equipped with a 4.1 Megapixel Super CCD. The new FinePix digital camera offers a 3x optical zoom lens and an easy-to-view 1.8-inch LCD monitor. Designed with ease-of-use as a priority, the number of buttons on the camera body has been kept to a minimum. The addition of an optical viewfinder makes the Fujifilm A400 easy to operate, even for those who have never used a digital camera before. Distinguished by ease of use and exceptional image quality the 4.1 Megapixel Fuji A400 will be available from March 2006.

This sophisticated imaging sensor ensures exceptional image quality, characterized by accurate reproduction of subtle details, smooth, attractive skin tones, and true-to-life colours. The Fujifilm FinePix A400 features 12MB of internal memory, making it possible to record up to 25 frames (at 1M resolution) without a media card. The FinePix A400 are powered by 2x AA-size batteries.
