CES 2010 Show - Samsung Electronics America announces a new ultra-slim digital camera, the Samsung TL105. The new Samsung camera is perfect for consumers who want a stylish, on-the-go camera for parties, family gatherings and other special moments. At just 0.65 inches thin, the 12.2 megapixel TL105 is equipped with a 2.7-inch LCD screen. Samsung TL105 features an improved 27.5mm wide-angle lens when compared to their predecessor, the TL100. The Samsung TL105 offers an expanded 4x optical zoom and features Digital Image Stabilization.

Stratasys uPrint 3D printers

CES 2010 Show - One year after introducing what has become the world’s best-selling 3D printer - the Dimension uPrint - Stratasys says it has expanded the product line with the uPrint Plus - an enhanced version with lots of new features - while still keeping the price under $20,000 (USD). Like the dimension uPrint personal 3D printer, the Stratasys uPrint Plus 3D printer has a small footprint for true desktop use (635 x 660 mm). The 3D printer can print in eight colors of Stratasys ABSplus material, making it easier for designers to differentiate individual assembly components and better depict their product.

Toshiba SDXC memory

Toshiba announced the launch of the world's first 64GB SDXC Memory Card capable of operating at the world's fastest data transfer rate for reading and writing to a flash memory card. The new Toshiba SDXC memory card is compliant with the new SD Memory Standard, Ver. 3.00, UHS104. Toshiba also extended its industry leadership in memory card solutions by unveiling 32GB and 16GB SDHC Memory Cards compliant with the world's fastest data transfer rate. Samples of the new Toshiba SDXC Memory Cards will be available this month, and samples of the new SDHC Memory Cards will be available in January.

Garmin Approach G3 Golf GPS

CES 2010 news - Garmin announces its new golf specific GPS handheld, the touchscreen Garmin Approach G3. Smaller, lighter and at a lower cost than similar models, Garmin Approach G3 was announced in conjunction with the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Weighing just 5.25 ounces, Garmin Approach G3 gets up to 15 hours of battery life from two AA batteries (NiMH or lithium are recommended). Preloaded with a database of more than 12,000 course maps (and growing), and powered by two AA batteries, the Garmin Approach G3 golf GPS is ready for a round just minutes after being taken out of the box. There are no subscriptions or annual fees that are common in golf technology.

Wireless chargers from Powermat

The Consumer Electronics Show, better known as CES, has been held annually for over 40 years now. The first CES took place in New York City in 1967 featuring 200 exhibitors and 17,500 visitors. Since that time, the total show has increased by a factor 10. This year's CES show will again take place in Las Vegas, as usual, where visitors are welcomed from January 7 to January 10. The CES event appears to become more important every year. It is the first major world event where more than 2,200 CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) members are able to display their involvement in relation to development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of consumer electronic products such as audio, photo, video, mobile communication, and accessories. The CES 2010 starts off a brand-new year, offering a peek of what we can expect in the upcoming season regarding new products and services.
