Casio announce that it has developed a new digital imaging product that transforms ordinary digital photographs into works of fine art. Utilizing a “snapshot-to-painting conversion” function to render digital photographs into creative and personalized artistic expressions, Casio’s digital art frame is unlike any conventional digital photo frame on the market. Going beyond simply decorating a home or office with a revolving view of favorite photographs, Casio’s new product can actually create original photographic artwork from digital images, making it more enjoyable than ever to share images with friends and family.

Stratasys uPrint 3D printers

CES 2010 Show - One year after introducing what has become the world’s best-selling 3D printer - the Dimension uPrint - Stratasys says it has expanded the product line with the uPrint Plus - an enhanced version with lots of new features - while still keeping the price under $20,000 (USD). Like the dimension uPrint personal 3D printer, the Stratasys uPrint Plus 3D printer has a small footprint for true desktop use (635 x 660 mm). The 3D printer can print in eight colors of Stratasys ABSplus material, making it easier for designers to differentiate individual assembly components and better depict their product.

The Vue personal video network is now shipping and is available for order on Amazon or the VueZone website. The Vue has already received early rave reviews from media and technology enthusiasts for its simple set-up and wireless video streaming capabilities, allowing consumers to see their families and businesses from virtually anywhere. The system, which combines real-time remote video viewing and the Internet, is comprised of a network of small, battery-powered wire-free cameras. The miniature cameras stream real-time video directly to the Internet. An innovative ultra low-power patented technology called FrameMesh allows the cameras to operate for up to a year without changing the battery.

Video calling and image sharing just got easier as well as clearer with Sakar International’s new line of Kodak Webcams, including a top-of-the-line model that features a true 3 megapixel sensor for HD video. All Kodak webcams in the series feature one-stop connectivity to the most popular VoIP, IM and social media services, eliminating extra steps typically required to launch video calls and chats or upload images to social networks. Kodak announce its new Kodak Pulse Digital Wi-Fi frame. This touch screen enabled frame is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and a personal e-mail address so consumers can easily send pictures wirelessly to the frame from a computer, from Facebook and Kodak Gallery sites, or from any device that has email capability. The Kodak Pulse frame redefines the element of surprise, giving consumers a constant stream of new pictures to enjoy, celebrate and relive. “Now, picture this: Remember your high school prom picture? The one with the big hair? Well, your best friend just uploaded it to her Facebook photo album and now it’s on your own Pulse Frame!,” added Blake.
