These two companies are launching their new cooperation with a total of four earphone models that have been specially designed for sports applications. Somewhere in one of the gigantic halls of the Consumer Electronics Show, we met the representatives of Gelaskins. This company, based in North America, supplies so-called unique skins to personalize your mobile phone, notebook or even your guitar. Gelaskins collaborates with several artists whose artwork gets transferred onto a kind of vinyl skin. This way, electronic equipment receives a second skin as it were, with really beautiful artwork. Mobile phone hard drive

Samsung announced that it is shipping Compact Flash card-sized hard disk drives (HDD) for use in mobile phones. Initially available in 30GB and 40GB models, Samsung's Spinpoint A1 hard disks offer significantly higher storage capacity than conventional memory cards, high shock resistance, and low power consumption. Samsung's suite of advanced hard disk drives will be on display at CES.

If there is one segment of the electronics industry that is growing very fast, it is the cell phone market. Where companies like Google get their interaction mostly from desktop and notebook users, the prediction is that within three years Google will become a mobile company. Powerful applications will drive smartphones to amazing levels of experiences. To reach this stage Cloud computing is needed. Super cloud computing will result in impressive user experiences. Today’s cell phones are capable of capturing Full HD video clips, and even 3D photo and later on video is ready to be integrated into this small electronic device. The mobile industry is adapting to the technology that is available. The consumer is waiting for the next generation of mobile devices. The Consumer Electronics Show 2012 in Las Vegas will showcase at least some of the first batch of new cell phones for this season.
