CNet Technology, a Silicon Valley net-working and communi-cations company established in 1987, announced the release of its third IP camera, the CIC-920W. Similar to its other cameras, the CIC-920W wireless camera offers many features, including 640x480 image resolution, motion detection, alarm notification, and WPA wireless security. “The surveillance camera market is shifting from closed-circuit TV to IP cameras. In addition, the industry is migrating from motion JPEG to MPEG-4. We’re happy to say that the CNet CIC-920W comes with a MPEG-4 video compression feature that provides high-resolution images with less storage and bandwidth constraints,” said Bryan Chan, EVP of CNet.
