Kodak announced new products this time with smart digital technology that encourages consumers to explore their creativity without compromising on image or print quality. "With our new Kodak EasyShare cameras launched at CES, Kodak is continuing to innovate and introduce smart technology that delivers on the promise of 'you press the button, we do the rest,'" said Pierre Schaeffer, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodak's Consumer Digital Imaging Group. "For 120 years, Kodak has helped consumers capture life-long memories and now, in this digital age, it all comes to life in high definition on HD displays, wireless picture frames and big bright prints -- easily, affordably and without compromise."

Panasonic Lumix wireless camera

Panasonic highlighted the development of a Lumix digital compact camera with wireless network connectivity, complete with integrated access to T-Mobile HotSpot service and the ability to send photos directly to Picasa Web Albums, a free online photo-sharing service from Google. Panasonic collaborated with T-Mobile Hotspot and used Picasa Web Albums’ APIs to develop a new and optimal online environment for photo sharing. After taking digital photos with the new Lumix camera, users will be able to upload their photos directly to Picasa Web Albums through the T-Mobile HotSpot service. The Lumix comes with complimentary access to T-Mobile HotSpot service for 12 months.

Casio Exilim Z100 digital camera

Casio America, Inc. and its parent company, Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced introduces the new Casio Exilim Z100 just in time for Spring. The Casio Exilim EX-Z100, while naturally offering significant enhancements in function and performance, focuses on style with a new body shape that keeps height to a minimum and exudes a sense of premium design quality. With its newly developed lens, the Casio Z100 camera gives users the freedom to enjoy a range of different photo styles, from wide angle to telephoto. The Casio Exilim EX-Z100 includes a highly visible Super Clear LCD as well as Casio’s AUTO BEST SHOT scene recognition function that automatically chooses an appropriate shooting mode.

Casio Exilim S10 digital camera

With this model, Casio sought to produce a camera with a high resolution CCD and a very bright Super Clear LCD featuring a high contrast ratio and a wide field of view. Both the picture taking and image viewing capabilities of this camera have been improved, and its design presence has been enhanced by keeping it as slim as possible.

Samsung L100 digital camera

Samsung introduces a new model to its compact and stylish L-Series. The new 8 Megapixel L100 joins the popular lineup and combine a number of features commonly found on higher-priced, more advanced models. The Samsung L100 features a high-quality, 3x optical zoom Samsung NV lens and pack a large, 2.5" LCD screen which will automatically brighten or dim depending on the current lighting situation. For reviewing and sharing images with others, the Samsung L100 also includes an intuitive Multi-Slide Show. With Mutli-Slide Show, end-users can playback their images using five different slide transitions and can also have their images set to scroll to the cameras’ preloaded music or their own favorite MP3 files.

Samsung i8 digital camera

Samsung announced the i8, an eight Megapixel, ultra-thin, ultra-stylish digital camera supporting Samsung’s PMP multimedia technology. PMP, which has become the defining feature of Samsung’s popular i-Series, gives users the ability to enjoy movies, videos and their favorite music while on-the-go. The Samsung i8 boasts a redesigned body, sporting a glossy and reflective finish, and measures in at a pocket-sized 3.5" x 2.3" x 0.8". At the heart of the camera lies a high-performance, eight mega-pixel sensor that produces ultra-clear and sharp images. The Samsung i8 also features a non-protruding, 3x optical zoom, enabling shooters to get close to their subjects without compromising their low profiles.
