Although the digital camera has become quite common, the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas shows that especially in this segment, where quality is an important factor for the user, a lot of innovation still takes place. The digital SLR camera features a traditional construction, however, thanks to the development of Micro Four Thirds, we find the market changing. And as often is the case, it is precisely the non-traditional camera manufacturers that have managed to create a new camera segment, which is expected to conquer a large market share. High-quality digital photography has become accessible to everyone. Compact cameras, digital SLR cameras and Micro Four Thirds System cameras are available for the novice amateur photographer, and come with an affordable price tag, while the professional version of the digital camera is the optimal tool for the professional. The digital camera still leaves room for further development; CES 2010 exhibits the latest cameras.
