Report CES 2011 Show - SanDisk announced the world’s fastest high-capacity CompactFlash memory card. The latest milestone in SanDisk’s long history of industry-leading products, the SanDisk Extreme Pro CompactFlash card features 128 gigabytes (128GB) of storage and up to 100 megabyte (100MB) per second (MB/sec) write speeds. With its Power Core controller and UDMA-7 interface, the new SanDisk flash memory card delivers the performance demanded by high-end Digital SLR cameras. The new 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro CompactFlash memory card is available now for preorder at the SanDisk website, and will be available at retailers worldwide later in Q1 2011. Report CES 2011 Show - Lexar announced new Lexar Professional Secure Digital Extended Capacity (SDXC) memory cards. The new high-capacity Lexar Professional 133x SDXC cards enable the capture, storage, and transfer of extended lengths of 1080p high-definition (HD) video and continuous, rapid-fire image capture in a single, high-performance solution. The Lexar Professional 133x SDXC card is the first available in a 128GB capacity, and is also offered in a 64GB capacity. Both cards are speed rated at 133x, providing a minimum guaranteed transfer speed of 20MB per second, and feature a Class 10 speed designation.

CES 2010 - Lexar Media announced additions to the Professional line of CompactFlash (CF) and Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) memory cards for an enhanced imaging experience. Lexar has increased the capacity of Professional 300x CF cards to 32GB, and Professional 233x CF cards are now available in 16GB and 32GB capacities. In addition, the Lexar Professional 133x SDHC card has achieved a Class 10 speed rating. The improvements to the Lexar Professional flash memory line allow professional photographers and advanced enthusiasts to capture more high-resolution images and high-definition (HD) video with their digital SLR cameras.
