Garmin Nuvi GPS systems

Report CES 2011 Show - Garmin, the global leader in GPS satellite navigation, announced the Garmin Nuvi 2400 series of personal navigation devices, featuring a large five-inch display and a new range of optional features like voice-activated navigation, lifetime traffic and map updates, and advanced route planning and calculation with Garmin’s nüRoute technology. The Garmin Nuvi 2400 series is comprised of four models: the Garmin Nuvi 2460LMT, Garmin Nuvi 2460LT, Garmin Nuvi 2450LM, and the Garmin Nuvi 2450. All new Garmin Nuvi GPS ystsems featuring voice activated navigation let users control their GPS navigation system by voice, so they can keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.

Report CES 2011 Show - Garmin, the global leader in GPS navigation, announced that it is entering a new market - personal and property tracking - with the introduction of its innovative Garmin GTU 10 GPS locator and web-based Garmin Tracker service for personal computers, smartphones and compatible Garmin nüLink devices. The new Garmin GTU 10 GPS handheld will be showcased in the Garmin booth at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The new Garmin GTU 10 has a suggested retail price of $199.99 which includes one year of Standard GPS Tracking.

Garmin Approach G3 Golf GPS

CES 2010 news - Garmin announces its new golf specific GPS handheld, the touchscreen Garmin Approach G3. Smaller, lighter and at a lower cost than similar models, Garmin Approach G3 was announced in conjunction with the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Weighing just 5.25 ounces, Garmin Approach G3 gets up to 15 hours of battery life from two AA batteries (NiMH or lithium are recommended). Preloaded with a database of more than 12,000 course maps (and growing), and powered by two AA batteries, the Garmin Approach G3 golf GPS is ready for a round just minutes after being taken out of the box. There are no subscriptions or annual fees that are common in golf technology.

This powerful new navigator gives clear guidance on a 4.3” color touchscreen display (480x272 pixels), and is preloaded with maps of the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. For faster satellite prediction, the Nuvi 885T has Garmin’s HotFix feature which automatically calculates and stores critical satellite information.
