Video calling and image sharing just got easier as well as clearer with Sakar International’s new line of Kodak Webcams, including a top-of-the-line model that features a true 3 megapixel sensor for HD video. All Kodak webcams in the series feature one-stop connectivity to the most popular VoIP, IM and social media services, eliminating extra steps typically required to launch video calls and chats or upload images to social networks. Available at retailers next month, each of the new Kodak webcams is compatible with both PC (Windows XP/Vista/7) and Mac (OSX 10.5 and above) for easy consumer selection. The Kodak webcams are the latest products available under a license between Kodak and Sakar.

Kodak microSD card reader

Four card readers now available in stores will be joined in spring 2010 by an extra-secure microSD card reader designed to transfer photos from your cell phone or camera, including the new Kodak SLICE Touchscreen Camera announced by Kodak. Roughly the size of a quarter, the new Kodak R110 card reader for microSD Cards (MSRP $14.99) has special features to keep the card, USB connection and device itself safe and secure.

Kodak announce its new Kodak Pulse Digital Wi-Fi frame. This touch screen enabled frame is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and a personal e-mail address so consumers can easily send pictures wirelessly to the frame from a computer, from Facebook and Kodak Gallery sites, or from any device that has email capability. The Kodak Pulse frame redefines the element of surprise, giving consumers a constant stream of new pictures to enjoy, celebrate and relive. “Now, picture this: Remember your high school prom picture? The one with the big hair? Well, your best friend just uploaded it to her Facebook photo album and now it’s on your own Pulse Frame!,” added Blake.

Kodak introduces the new Kodak Playsport video camera, a rugged, durable and pocket-size HD video camera with an appetite for adventure. The Kodak Playsport video camera is specifically designed for consumers with active lifestyles, allowing them to capture full 1080p HD video - even underwater - with the touch of a button. The Kodak Playsport video camera is waterproof up to 10 feet and features built-in software and USB cable output so users can edit and easily share with family and friends through sites such as YouTube and Facebook.
