LG watch phone review

Posted by: Mark Peters Sunday 3rd, January 2010

The LG watch phone comes in a big sturdy box with a magnetic lock. Upon opening it, the LG watch phone is directly accessible. Furthermore, there are several boxes containing the supplied accessories. For the watch phone, these are a charger, a Bluetooth headset, data cable, instruction manuals and a software CD. The charger is a combination of charger and cradle, however, it does come across rather cheap. It would have been fun if some kind of desk cradle had been included, in which to place the watch phone when charging. When it comes to design, the phone looks neat. It is the front in particular that attracts the attention. On the phone's side, three buttons are positioned, for answering and ending a call and to undo an action. The watch certainly gives you the feeling you're wearing something truly unique on your wrist.

LG T80 MP3 player review

Posted by: Mark Peters Saturday 27th, December 2008

The LG Touch T80 was designed by the same designer that designed the Prada cell phones. Although the LG T80 looks slightly better than previous portable media players of the LG stable, the design still remains somewhat on the boring side. The front has a shiny coating with few buttons. One side contains the on/off/pause slide bar, the top side carries a 3mm head jack connection, and the large 3 inch WQVGA (400 x 240) Touch Screen TFT color LCD takes care of the remaining operation possibilities. With its dimensions of 3.87 x 2.18 x 0.5 inches the T80 closely resembles the Apple iPhone, however; the LG T80's weight is a lot less. What makes this LG so special is the DVB-T support that allows you to watch television, providing there is a signal close by.

The Consumer Electronics Show, better known as CES, has been held annually for over 40 years now. The first CES took place in New York City in 1967 featuring 200 exhibitors and 17,500 visitors. Since that time, the total show has increased by a factor 10. This year's CES show will again take place in Las Vegas, as usual, where visitors are welcomed from January 7 to January 10. The CES event appears to become more important every year. It is the first major world event where more than 2,200 CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) members are able to display their involvement in relation to development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of consumer electronic products such as audio, photo, video, mobile communication, and accessories. The CES 2010 starts off a brand-new year, offering a peek of what we can expect in the upcoming season regarding new products and services.
