Norcent, a marketer of high-quality home entertainment and digital products, announces the introduction of the 10-megapixel Norcent DCS-1050 compact camera, at the 2008 International CES in Las Vegas. Part of Norcent's new feature-rich 50 Series line of slim digital cameras, the Norcent DCS-1050 digital camera includes face- detection and anti-shake capabilities as well as a large, scratch-resistant 3" color LCD display. "The new Norcent DCS-1050 10-megapixel digital camera captures awe-inspiring ultra-high resolution images of up to 3648 x 2736," Rick Stans, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing. The Consumer Electronics Show, better known as CES, has been held annually for over 40 years now. The first CES took place in New York City in 1967 featuring 200 exhibitors and 17,500 visitors. Since that time, the total show has increased by a factor 10. This year's CES show will again take place in Las Vegas, as usual, where visitors are welcomed from January 7 to January 10. The CES event appears to become more important every year. It is the first major world event where more than 2,200 CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) members are able to display their involvement in relation to development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of consumer electronic products such as audio, photo, video, mobile communication, and accessories. The CES 2010 starts off a brand-new year, offering a peek of what we can expect in the upcoming season regarding new products and services.
