Panasonic introduces three additions to its 2010 standard definition camcorder lineup - the Panasonic SDR-H85, SDR-T50 & SDR-S50, designed to be portable, durable and high-performing. These camcorders may small in size, but they have impressive features: a 33mm wide-angle and a long, powerful 78x ultra zoom - giving them remarkable range for capturing video both far and wide. Panasonic’s new camcorder models are packed with enhanced features to help make shooting quality video easy, including the new Active mode for the Advanced O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), helping to suppress blur even if the user is moving and when the powerful zooms are extended.

Panasonic Lumix lenses

In the Panasonic booth, we ran into a number of prototype Lumix lenses. These Micro Four Thirds lenses have not yet officially been launched, however, they are expected to be released mid April 2010. This means that the line of Panasonic Lumix lenses extends rapidly, through which Panasonic keeps its promise to make the Panasonic system cameras into a mature line. The first prototype Lumix lens is the Panasonic Lumix G Vario f/4.0-5.6 100-300 mm, a zoom lens with integrated Mega OIS stabilization. Also a lens with a large range, compared to 35mm, it provides a stunning 200-600 mm. Undoubtedly an eagerly awaited zoom lens.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-F3

Panasonic introduces a new entry-level digital camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-F3, which has been designed with simplicity in mind, without overlooking the importance of style and performance. The 12.1-Megapixel Panasonic Lumix F3 has an impressive 4x optical zoom, considering its small size, as well as Panasonic’s shooting-assistant, Auto Scene Mode. The Panasonic DMC-F3 also records dynamic High Definition video in 1280 x 720p, at a smooth 30 fps, in addition to WVGA (848 x 480) and normal VGA (640 x 480). Furthermore, the Panasonic F3 is equipped with a 28mm wide-angle lens, a high-sensitivity CCD, and an Extra Optical Zoom function which extends zoom power to 7.8x.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH20

The Panasonic FH20 is a slim, pocketable camera that packs a 28mm wide-angle lens with 8x optical zoom. The new Panasonic Lumix camera can record High Definition video and is extremely easy to use thanks to iA (Intelligent Auto). The camera is compatible with Windows 7 and can take HD-quality still photos that fill a 16:9 HDTV. Users with a Panasonic Viera HDTV can enjoy a slideshow of photos simply by inserting an SD Memory Card into the HDTV’s SD memory card image viewer slot.

The FS series, a sister line of the Lumix’s popular FX series, pursues easy and simple operation with its high-grade profile for users at every stage to enjoy taking beautiful pictures. The Panasonic DMC-FS33 features a 3.0-inch touchscreen Intelligent LCD. What is newly featured in the Panasonic Lumix FS33 is HD (high definition) movie recording capability in 720p motion jpeg. Not only viewing the movie on PC but also burning the movie and photos made into a slideshow of MPEG2 file on a DVD disc to enjoy watching it on TV via the bundled software PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5.0.
