CES 2010 - Samsung and Yahoo! announced a new Internet-based service to Samsung HD televisions available in the spring of 2009. Select models in Samsung's HDTV line-up will be powered by the Yahoo! Widget Engine, a fifth-generation applications platform that enables HDTV watchers to interact with and enjoy a rich set of "TV Widgets." TV Widgets make it easy to interact with Internet content and services to complement and enhance the traditional TV viewing experience. The Javascript and XML applications bring content features available on the Internet within easy reach of the remote control.

Samsung announce the launch of the first LED data projector with 1,000 ANSI lumens (max). With no lamp to replace, the Samsung F10M has an LED light source that promises a lifespan of up to 30,000+ hours, and significantly reduces the hassle, environmental impact, and total cost of ownership. The LED light source also maintains its brightness over the entire life of the projector, with industry-leading color intensity and range. The Samsung F10M LED data projector will be available through Samsung reseller channels in the second quarter 2010 with pricing TBD.
