SanDisk Sansa Fuze player review

Posted by: Dennis Hissink Saturday 3rd, January 2009

The SanDisk Sansa Fuze is a media player with a 1.9 inch screen, a microSD memory slot and, according to the specifications, the Sansa Fuze offers the longest battery-life ever of the entire Sansa series. According to SanDisk, the Sansa Fuze plays 24 hours non-stop music without having to recharge the battery. The microSD flash memory card slot enables enhancing the memory to a maximum of 16GB. The SanDisk Sansa music player series was launched into the market in one sudden blow, and the Sansa Fuze is already the next gem in this great line of music players. The SanDisk Sansa Fuze supposedly features an improved interface compared to its predecessor, the Sansa View, as well as an improved operating system to get this MP3 player ready to battle the third Apple iPod Nano generation.

SanDisk Sansa Clip review

Posted by: Mark Peters Saturday 27th, December 2008

The 4GB model of the SanDisk Sansa Clip is available in silver. Its dimensions of 55 x 34 x 17 mm (without clip) make the Sansa Clip about equal in size to the Creative Zen Stone and the Apple iPod Shuffle. The monitor of the Sansa Clip is at the top and is placed under some sort of mirror layer that covers the entire front of the MP3 player. The dual coloured OLED monitor is bright, and is easy to be viewed in virtually every light environment except direct sunlight. Its design is nicely curved and the scratchproof plastic gives it a durable feel, although the MP3 player itself feels light weighted and vulnerable.

SanDisk Sansa View review

Posted by: Mark Peters Friday 26th, December 2008

Even at first sight, the SanDisk Sansa View looks sleek and neat; the device fits perfectly in my hand and has an expensive businesslike appearance. The SanDisk View is available in black. The front has a shiny coating and the back a rubber finishing touch. The thing that struck me straight away is the fact that the Sansa View has very few buttons, which looks good and functions perfectly. With dimensions of 8 mm x 4 mm x 1 mm the View is not the smallest of devices, yet in combination with its weight of approximately 80 grams, it is a solid MP3 player. The model I tested is equipped with 8GB flash memory and can hold approximately 2000 songs. There are various models available besides this one; with 16GB and 32GB. Moreover, the Sansa View features a microSD slot to enable an additional storage space of 1GB, 2GB, 4GB or even 8GB.
