Sanyo releases a new Full HD, slim type dual camera Xacti, VPC-CS1, available in February, 2010. The Sanyo Dual Camera series aims to provide customers with more enjoyable video experiences, by offering cameras that allow users to easily capture both photos and videos in daily life, rather than devices that are merely used to record important events. By utilizing a convenient video format that can be easily handled on PC and Internet environments, and even on home TVs, the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1 camera is more than just hardware for capturing, viewing, and saving images. The Sanyo Xacti CS1 is a convenient product for sharing videos online, on blogs or on other multi-media sites, and they are able to easily import images to portable media devices.

Sanyo Xacti sound recorders

Sanyo announces the release of the world’s slimmest and lightest sound recorder, the Xacti sound recorder ICR-XPS01M, and a bundled speaker cradle version, the ICR-XPS01MF. These new sound recorders feature Linear PCM recording in addition to various MP3 modes. Linear PCM is a high quality sound recording mode that is equivalent to an audio CD, which can be recorded onto a microSD card and easily transferred and played back on a computer or shared online. The sound recorders will be available in March 2010.
