Sanyo releases a new Full HD Dual Camera Xacti, VPC-SH1, available in February, 2010. Based on the dual camera concept of offering photo and video functions in one camera unit, the new product is compact and enables wide-range shooting from wide angle to telephoto. The Sanyo Dual Camera series aims to provide customers with more enjoyable video experiences by offering cameras that allow users to easily capture both photo and video in daily life, as well as recording important events and occasions. By utilizing a convenient video format that can be easily handled on PC and Internet environments, and even on home TVs, the Sanyo Xactio VPC-SH1 camera is more than just a tool for capturing, viewing, and saving images.

Sanyo Xacti HD1000 full HD camcorder

Sanyo, a world leading digital camera manufacturer, introduces the Xacti HD1000, the world's smallest and lightest full HD digital camcorder. The sleek and simple-to-use device records video in Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and also takes 4-megapixel digital still images. The HD1000 utilizes the advanced MPEG-4 AVC/H.246 video format and features a 10x optical HD lens and a large 2.7-inch widescreen display. The Consumer Electronics Show, better known as CES, has been held annually for over 40 years now. The first CES took place in New York City in 1967 featuring 200 exhibitors and 17,500 visitors. Since that time, the total show has increased by a factor 10. This year's CES show will again take place in Las Vegas, as usual, where visitors are welcomed from January 7 to January 10. The CES event appears to become more important every year. It is the first major world event where more than 2,200 CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) members are able to display their involvement in relation to development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of consumer electronic products such as audio, photo, video, mobile communication, and accessories. The CES 2010 starts off a brand-new year, offering a peek of what we can expect in the upcoming season regarding new products and services.
