Apple introduces iPad, a revolutionary device for browsing the web, reading and sending email, enjoying photos, watching videos, listening to music, playing games, reading e-books and much more. Apple iPad’s responsive high-resolution Multi-Touch display lets users physically interact with applications and content. Apple iPad is just 0.5 inches thick and weighs just 1.5 pounds thinner and lighter than any laptop or netbook. Apple iPad includes 12 new innovative apps designed especially for the iPad, and will run almost all of the over 140,000 apps in the App Store. Apple iPad will be available in late March starting at the breakthrough price of just $499.

Seagate USB 3.0 hard drive
Seagate unveils the Black Armor PS110 USB 3.0 portable external hard drive performance kit for netbooks. Demonstrating its industry leadership in delivering advanced and easy-to-use storage solutions, this all-in-one USB 3.0 toolkit packages a 500GB 7200RPM 2.5 inch hard drive, power cable and PC express card, to deliver speeds up to three times faster than its USB 2.0 predecessor, making it one of the fastest portable hard drives available. “As we continue to amass vast libraries of HD photos, movies, & music, the storage needs of households are forecast to grow more than ten times between 2009 & 2013, and the average storage requirements will exceed a terabyte by 2013”, said Kurt Schreff, analyst of Parks Associates.

Lenovo ThinkPad laptops
Lenovo announce four new ThinkPad PCs - the T410s, T410 and T510 laptops and W510 mobile workstation - to bring higher levels of performance and productivity to business users. The new laptops are based on upcoming Intel Core dual-core processors and equip users with faster multi-tasking performance, more energy efficient performance and greater manageability for IT departments. Beyond powerful processing performance improvements, the new laptops extend individual productivity with never before seen ThinkPad 22 hour battery life on select models, more multitouch screen options and a single wireless broadband solution with the Qualcomm Gobi 2000 module.
Lenovo ThinkPad X100e
Lenovo announce the ThinkPad X100e, the company’s first professional-grade ultraportable laptop starting below $500. The introduction pioneers a new category of PCs for today’s business users that blends professional performance, usability and design with new color options, such as Heatwave Red, at an extremely affordable price. The Lenovo X100e also represents the first time Lenovo and AMD have collaborated to offer AMD processors on Lenovo ThinkPad laptops and to leverage AMD’s VisionPro branding. Smartbook tablet
Freescale Semiconductor has unveiled the future of the smartbook category with a tablet reference design featuring a 7-inch touch screen with up to four times the viewing area of a typical smartphone and based on a form factor that is approximately one-third the size and volume of today’s typical netbook. The solution is intended to enable a second generation of smartbook products with prices less than $200 and featuring form factors that fully leverage the power, performance and functionality advantages of advanced ARM processor technology. It is designed to provide instant-on functionality, persistent connectivity and all-day battery life. The tablet will be demonstrated at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show.
Dell Inspiron Mini laptop
Dell and AT&T Mobility announced a nearly irresistible offer that brings nationwide high-speed connectivity at an affordable price to the award-winning Inspiron Mini 9.
